CEVNI

The CEVNI is the code governing navigation on the interconnected European inland waterways.

It is needed by anyone wanting their International Certificate of Competence (ICC) endorsed for use on inland waters.

Pleasure craft are expected to know and follow the Signs, rules and procedures for navigating the European inland waterways that are included within the CEVNI code.

Buoyage

Rules

Signage

Duration - The online exam takes about 20 minutes

  • Part 1 is 15 questions on signs & bouyage

  • Part 2 is 15 questions on lights, shapes and sound signals

It is necessary to study before hand and the exam fee includes practice online tests.
